Alleghany Educational Foundation Armed with five thousand dollars’ seed money provided by First Citizens Bank, the Alleghany County Educational Foundation, Inc.

Helping students in the Alleghany County Schools pursue post-secondary educational opportunities and to enhance educational programs of the Alleghany County Schools In 1985, seven local volunteers, under the aegis of the Alleghany Chamber of Commerce Community Development Committee, explored the possibilities of encouraging local youth to pursue education beyond the high school level. was about t

What an incredible reminder of the power of community.

Thank you to former NC Senator Deanna Ballard, for highlighting Trojan TRAX and the many people who make it possible. This story reflects what we have always known: when Alleghany County comes together to support students, amazing things happen.

We are proud of our schools, our mentors, our businesses, our volunteers, and our students. Together, we are building bright futures.

Through Trojan TRAX, the Alleghany Educational Foundation is helping high schoolers earn scholarships and figure out their career path.
