Hello and welcome to the Full STEAM Ahead page!!! STEAM is STEM+Art which is not a new program or tool for the classroom. It is an approach to teaching and learning which involves intentionally connecting standards, content areas, and hands-on activities while incorporating problem solving, inquiry, innovation, and other habits of mind. It connects what students are learning in the classroom to real life experiences. Our students must learn and be proficient in STEAM because those are the skills required for jobs. Yes, for the future, and also for the present. Our children must be prepared.
