This week at Love of God Christian Learning & Development Center, we are celebrating our theme, โ€œGoodbye Summer!โ€ As we say farewell to sunny days and welcome a new season, our children will be learning about the changes that happen when summer ends and fall begins.

Through hands-on activities, art projects, stories, songs, and outdoor exploration, the children will discover how the weather changes, how leaves begin to transform, and how nature prepares for a new season. These fun experiences help build observation skills, language development, creativity, and a love for learning about the world around them.

During our Kindness Week, we are talking about how important it is to work together and listen to our friends' ideas. These children are showing excellent cooperation by sharing the space and their art supplies to create a masterpiece together.

๐ŸŒŸ This Weekโ€™s Theme: KINDNESS ๐ŸŒŸ

This week at Love of God Christian Learning & Development Center, our theme is Kindness! We will be learning what it means to be kind through stories, classroom activities, role-playing, art projects, and daily interactions with friends and teachers.

Throughout the week, children will be:
๐Ÿ’› Learning kind words such as โ€œplease,โ€ โ€œthank you,โ€ and โ€œyouโ€™re welcome.โ€
๐Ÿ’› Practicing sharing and taking turns.
๐Ÿ’› Discussing ways to help others at home, school, and in our community.
๐Ÿ’› Reading books and participating in activities that teach compassion, friendship, and respect.
๐Ÿ’› Creating kindness-themed crafts and classroom projects.

Our Bible focus will remind children that kindness is a way we show Godโ€™s love to others:
โ€œBe ye kind one to another, tenderheartedโ€ฆโ€ โ€“ Ephesians 4:32 (KJV)

We encourage families to join us by talking about kindness at home and looking for opportunities to perform simple acts of kindness together. Even small actions can make a big difference!

We would like to take a moment to thank everyone who attended our Open House this past Thursday at Love of God Christian Learning & Development Center!

We are so grateful for all of the parents, families, and community members who came out to support our center and spend time learning more about what we offer. Your support means the world to us.

A very special thank you to our amazing teachers and staff for their hard work, dedication, and commitment. Thank you for helping prepare, welcoming our families, and showing the love and care that make our center so special. Your support and teamwork played a huge part in making our Open House a success.

We are excited about the upcoming school year and look forward to partnering with our families as we continue providing a loving, safe, and enriching environment for every child.

Today was a great day of learning at Love of God Christian Learning & Development Center! ๐Ÿ“šโœจ

Our children spent time exploring their learning centers, where they developed important skills through hands-on activities. In the Math Center, they practiced counting, sorting, and problem-solving. In the Science Center, they explored, discovered, and learned about the world around them through observation and investigation. In the Art Center, they expressed their creativity while strengthening fine motor skills and building confidence in their abilities.

One of our favorite moments today was watching one of our youngest learners proudly drink from a โ€œbig kidโ€ cup just like the older children. Milestones like these may seem small, but they are an important part of a childโ€™s growth and development, helping build independence, self-confidence, and everyday life skills.

We are so proud of all of our little learners as they grow, explore, and achieve new goals every day! โค๏ธ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ”ฌโž•

Today our preschoolers practiced following directions by crawling and running under tables in a straight line! While it may look like simple fun, this activity helps build many important developmental skills.

โœจ Gross motor development as children move their bodies through spaces
โœจ Listening and following directions by staying on the designated path
โœจ Spatial awareness by understanding where their bodies are in relation to objects
โœจ Balance and coordination through controlled movement
โœจ Self-regulation by waiting their turn and moving safely

Activities like these help children strengthen both their minds and bodies while learning through play. We love creating fun experiences that encourage confidence, focus, and healthy physical development!

Whatโ€™s been Happening Love Of God Christian Learning and Development Center??? Weโ€™ve been making memories, learning big things, and having SO much fun! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ“š

Our babies have been busy playing fun games, learning and growing smarter every single day, working hard on their letter sounds, and strengthening those fine motor skills through hands-on activities and creative play! Watching these little minds grow is truly one of the sweetest parts of what we do. โœ๏ธ๐Ÿงฉ๐ŸŽจ

We also had the sweetest time celebrating our amazing mommies with handmade gifts made with little hands and lots of love โ€” because our moms deserve to be celebrated in the biggest way! ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’

Every laugh, lesson, craft, hug, and milestone means so much to us. We are thankful for the trust our families place in us each day.

And none of this would be possible without the BEST teachers in Baldwin County! Their love, patience, creativity, and dedication make Love of God Christian Learning and Development Center such a special place for our children to learn and grow. ๐Ÿฅฐโœจ
