This Latinx Heritage Month, we’re proud to spotlight Evelyn Ruiz, the visionary force behind in Hartford. What began as a dream deeply rooted in her Puerto Rican family’s love of giving their community a place of love and great food, has blossomed into a beloved local gem—bringing vibrant cultura to our community.
From matcha coquito lattes and lavender refreshers to community events like pilates and networking, HLF has been showing up and showing out.

Cheers to a great Elite Event uplifting local in the name of ! We partnered up with so many local brands to sweeten up the night 🧁🍋🟩
🍋🟩 Thanks to for sponsoring this event and keeping it local and delicious.
🧁 led the CT through a cupcake decoration class where we made margarita infused and citrus themed treats.
🍾 showed us the fool-proof way to make a margarita then kept them coming.
📍 was the perfect spot to host this event! From the built-in bar to the tables and chairs, all we had to do was throw a little Yelp on it.
