Places We Go with Media LLC

This next month marks the of Places We Go with Media LLC. The development of Daddy, Where Do the Animals on the Train Go? Book One began a few months prior, inspired my child's curiosity. That pivotal question helped me pick up pieces of myself and find the courage to practice what the Japanese call "ikigai." Released in 2023, the road to a has not been easy. There were some trying times. There are some now. Yet, it is through these periods of life where true practical begins.

I am so grateful for the festivals, the speaking engagements, the art exhibit, the public recognition, and the many people we have met along the way due to this story. It is truly a community. My head held high, my chest out, my shoulders pinned back, and with a smile of warmth and new understanding, I look forward to all the new "Places We Go with Media." For life is an adventure 😊

P.S. Book Two is in the works and it's better than Book One.

I think it is past time for creative folk to help design a world that they would be happy to leave for future generations to inhabit, nurture, grow, and build upon.

For parents/guardians and their children ages 12- to 18-year-olds, you are welcome to join my Art Workshop in Character Design in the Bagley Community of Detroit's northwest side. It will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. We'll go over the basics like simple forms, proportions, line, etc. while having fun reviewing each others' work. Designed to be the 1st of several sessions, we'll explore how this relates to the narrative our world community would like to experience for our collective present and future.
