🎒✨ BLESSING OF THE BACKPACKS ✨🎒

A new school year is almost here, and we want to cover our students, teachers, and school families in prayer! 💚

Join us this Sunday, August 23 at 10:00 AM for worship at First Baptist Church Southern Pines.

🎒 Students of all ages are encouraged to bring their backpacks! During the service, we’ll have a special time of prayer as we ask God to guide, protect, encourage, and bless our students as they step into a new school year.

Whether it’s their very first day of preschool, another year of elementary or middle school, high school, college, or beyond—we would love to pray over them as they begin! 🙏📚✏️

A Pre-K 4 spot just opened at Sonshine Learning Center! ☀️

If you’ve been hoping to join our Sonshine family for the 2026–2027 school year, this is your chance! 💛

Our Pre-K 4 program offers a loving, Christ-centered environment where children are encouraged to learn, grow, build friendships, and shine! 🌱✨

📚 Pre-K 4 Program�🍎 Monday–Thursday�⏰ 8:30–11:30 AM�📅 September–May�💰 $295/month�🥪 Optional Lunch Bunch every Wednesday until 1:00 PM for an additional fee

We are currently fully enrolled in our other classes, so this is a rare opening and will be filled on a first-come basis!

Today, we pause to remember and honor the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the incredible gift of freedom and the importance of gratitude, service, and love for others.

At Sonshine Learning Center, we are especially thankful for the many military families in our community and for all those who have served our nation with courage and selflessness. ❤️🤍💙

Looking for some summer fun for your little one? Join us this summer at for themed Preschool Summer Camps full of play, crafts, Bible stories, sensory activities, music, outdoor fun, and memory-making moments! 💛

✨ Session 1: Rainforest Rangers
📅 June 8–11

🌊 Session 2: Under the Sea
📅 July 20–23

🚜 Session 3: On the Farm
📅 August 10–13

🕣 Monday–Thursday | 8:30am–12:00pm
👧 Ages 2–6 (Spots for 2-3 year olds very limited!)

Our Preschool Summer Camps (Ages 2–6) are the perfect mix of learning, creativity, and good old-fashioned fun! From painting and storytelling to music, games, outdoor play, and water fun — your little ones will stay busy, happy, and smiling all summer long 🎨🎶💦

🗓 Monday–Thursday
⏰ 8:30am–12:00pm

✨ Sessions:
🌿 June 8–11 | Rain Forest Rangers
🌊 July 20–23 | Under the Sea / Beach Week
🚜 August 10–13 | On the Farm

💰 $175/week for SLC families
💰 $200 community rate
🔒 $50 non-refundable deposit per camp (due at signup)

🌞✨ It’s almost time for Sonshine Learning Center Registration! ✨🌞

We are excited to open enrollment and continue growing our wonderful Sonshine Learning Center family! 🌞💛

✨ New for the 2026–2027 school year:
• Our Three-Year-Old Program will transition to a 4-day schedule (Mon–Thurs)
• We are also adding a brand-new Two-Year-Old classroom so we can serve even more families in our community and continue supporting children through our faith based, caring, collaborative preschool environment!

We can’t wait to welcome new friends as we learn, play, and grow together! 💜🌻

🗓 Current Student Enrollment: January 6–20
🗓 Waitlist / New Student Outreach Begins: January 21
