Last night, I had the honor of being sworn in to continue serving on the School Committee. Following the swearing-in ceremony, we held our annual reorganization meeting, where I was humbled to be re-elected by my fellow committee members to serve as Vice Chair.

I want to sincerely thank my colleagues for your confidence and support. It is an honor to continue serving in this leadership role, and I truly appreciate the trust you've placed in me.

I look forward to continuing to work collaboratively with each of you as we focus on what matters most—supporting our students, families, educators, and our entire school community. I remain committed to listening, collaborating, and helping move our district forward.

Thank you again for this opportunity. I'm grateful for the chance to continue serving our community and excited for the work ahead.

Earlier this week, district leaders and members of the School Committee gathered to recognize and honor the outstanding contributions of our educators. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to those retiring this year and thank them for the years of commitment, passion, and service that have made a meaningful difference in the lives of countless students.

To every educator across our district, we are deeply grateful for your dedication, inspiration, and the positive impact you make each day as you help students learn, grow, and succeed.

Your dedication and hard work created a memorable experience that graduates, families, and friends will cherish for years to come. Grateful for the opportunity to join my fellow Leadership Worcester alumni for an engaging conversation on civic leadership, public service, and the journey from community involvement to candidacy.

Thank you to Karen for organizing such a thoughtful event and creating a space where alumni could come together to learn from one another and discuss how we can continue making an impact in our communities.

I also want to thank all of the Leadership Worcester alumni who showed up, asked great questions, and demonstrated the strength of this incredible network. Your support, engagement, and commitment to community leadership are what make this organization so special.

A special thank you to Ron Waddell for sharing his powerful and inspiring story. Your journey, experiences, and dedication to service added tremendous value to the conversation and reminded us all why leadership rooted in community matters.
