📣📣📣The North Mississippi Hummingbird Festival is returning to Southaven this September, bringing a weekend of activities centered around hummingbirds, nature and conservation.

According to the City of Southaven, the festival is scheduled for Sept. 12-13, 2026, at Snowden Grove Park near the Field of Dreams. Saturday’s festivities will run from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., while Sunday’s hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Visitors can expect educational presentations and conservation organizations, along with arts and crafts vendors, activities for children, food trucks and refreshments.

The city also shared that the June Wheeler Memorial Hummingbird Garden has grown since last year. The garden is currently in bloom and has already been drawing hummingbirds to the area.

Festival vendors and guest speakers will be set up around the Snowden House, located within walking distance of the hummingbird garden.
