Registration is DIFFERENT this year and you MUST have a PowerSchool Parent Portal account to register your child. If you have questions or need help, please contact the front office or district office.

🏆♻️ Mississippi Final Results Are In!!! ♻️🏆

Mississippi schools recycled an AMAZING 178,885 aluminum cans during the Million Cans Recycling Contest!!! 🤩🥤♻️

A HUGE congratulations to New Hope Elementary for taking the top spot in Mississippi and winning the $500 State Prize with an incredible 73,815 cans recycled!!! 🏆💵

Here are the final Mississippi school rankings:

Together, these incredible students, teachers, families, and communities helped keep thousands of aluminum cans out of landfills and gave them a new life through recycling! 🌎💚

Recycling Southaven Elementary School PTO Beth Ford Million Cans and Iskiwitz Metals Recycling Society Can Manufacturers Institute DeSoto County Government

🍿We will be providing popsicles and popcorn for all of the students on Field Day, May 18th. We will also be applying all of the tattoos from our “Tattoo-A-Teacher” fundraiser that day.
Parents are not allowed at field day unless you are volunteering with our PTO. We will need lots of volunteers so click the link below and sign up for your time slots! Hope to see you all there.

🔔Tomorrow is the last day for our Tattoo-A-Teacher Fundraiser! Don’t forget to send money with your student to school on Friday, May 8th. We are looking forward to tattooing the teachers at our Field Day on May 18th.
