Spring performance #5/6 completed. Today’s theme is ‘What a wonderful World’. 1 more to go and we are going strong! 19 songs today 💪🏻!

Spring program #4/6 done! That’s an amazing 40 mins performance. These little ones are going to kindergarten next year. I am amazed that they can memorize all the lyrics!

Spring music program #3/6 done! 3 more to go!

These 3 years old students did really good. 13 songs with songs and dances and poem, in English and Mandarin.

Sunday prep time. Today I’m preparing new materials for students. 🤩Always trying to be 5 steps ahead.

All music teachers of our schools were doing a choir performance recording today. I had many experiences in choral speaking, and being the pianist for choir, but never really been singing in a choir before. Thanks to my sight singing skills, I think I did a good job today! That was fun.

I reward myself with my favorite Din Tai Fung as lunch. (The waiting time was 1.5 - 2 hrs), so I decided to get take out and eat in the food court next to the restaurant.

I’m so proud of Alvin! He’s been practicing so hard on his pieces. We are the best team! Let’s find the next challenge to work on! 💪🏻

Congratulations Tessa! She made it! It’s the first time that she took a piano exam and she passed the highest grade with distinction!

Tessa is a very special student of mine. She has been learning for 5 years with me but we never met in person. She lives 2000 miles away. Thanks to the great technology.

She’s a very hard working student who always review our lesson recordings, read through every detail of my notes and practice hard.

I am so proud of her (and myself)!
