Join us and community partners for the Better Together Neighborhood Fest on Saturday, September 12th at the South Salt Lake Community Center!

This will be a fun day for the whole family with food trucks, vendors, the opportunity to connect, performances and film screenings.

This free event is in partnership with Salt Lake County and other municipalities for our annual Welcoming Week celebrations and all are welcome to attend!

Adults 55+ are invited to join us for a friendly community walking group! Whether you're looking to get a little more active, meet new people, enjoy some fresh air, or simply spend time with your neighbors, you're welcome to join us.

Starting Wednesday September 2nd through October 28th (every Wednesday), meet us at Fitts Park, 8:30-10:00AM, to start the day!

You are warmly invited to join us as at South Salt Lake Together: A Community Gathering for International Overdose Awareness Day.

This event is an opportunity to come together to honor the lives affected by overdose, celebrate hope and recovery, and connect our community with valuable resources that support prevention, treatment, recovery, and wellness.

Engage with community partners in a family friendly environment with refreshments and giveaways and attend the grand reveal of our new Overdose Prevention Education Installation, an interactive exhibit designed to increase awareness and reduce stigma.

From 5:30-6:00, attend an optional Naloxone training with the Salt Lake County Health Department (click here to register: https://shorturl.at/AMlfD), otherwise join us at 6:00PM for the rest of the event!

We are thrilled to announce our newest exhibition, South Salt Lake Scenes: A photography exhibition through a young adult lens. The creativity we witnessed during our recent photovoice project was just the beginning.

Join us on August 28 at Signed and Numbered to view the incredible stories our local youth have captured. Come see South Salt Lake from their perspective and connect with the young artists who are shaping the future of our city.

The Promise Teen Tech Center will be open next Friday, August 14th, for an open house! Families of teens, 6th through 12th grade, are welcome to come in to explore the space, meet our staff, and ask questions about the unique programming opportunities right here in the South Salt Lake community.

If you or your teen has ever wanted to learn more about 3D printing, sewing, music and sound production, art, entrepreneurship or college and career pathways, there is something for everybody! We're excited for a fun and engaging school year.
