Chatham Candy Manor, A Sweet Transition
[Naomi Turner and David Veach are handing off the 64 year old, family run shop to a new generation]
Chatham, MA 1/16/2019 – The Chatham Candy Manor was founded in 1955 by the senior Naomi Turner, Naomi’s Mother. It has remained a Main Street staple for 64 years. During this time, Naomi and husband, David Veach, have honored the essence of her mother’s entrepreneurship and vision. Last week, Naomi and David announced that they are proud and excited to have Robbie Carroll and Paige Piper take over the business.
With the dream to have employees or family with an understanding of the history and mission of the iconic business, take over the business, Naomi and Dave feel they have found the perfect people to take the business into the next generation.
Robbie grew up at the Candy Manor as his mother, Susan Carroll, has been a devoted employee for decades. Robbie and Paige both attended Bentley University to study business and are excited to honor the Candy Manor’s core principles while working to expand their online presence and build more corporate relationships.
Over the last year and a half they have been working with the Candy Manor staff to learn the day to day business. They are excited to move forward in 2019 with the team, who have a wealth of experience and knowledge.
