Keeping in my heart all the Mothers who lost a child in the line of service. My Mom wrote this letter to “Dear Jane Lee” in 1970 as my brother was called to report to the draft board. There are lots of pieces here to talk about but the most important here is a mothers “heavy heart” when their child serves our country. This old fashion way of corresponding received many responses. I honor all who died for our freedom as well as their Mother’s whose sacrifice is equally great! 🇺🇸

The Trump administration's guidance attempting to end DEI programs is no longer in effect and can't be enforced against anyone, anywhere nationwide.

Every student has a right to an inclusive education, free from censorship. This ruling affirms that all students have a right to a full and honest education that reflects the diversity of our communities and our full history.

Sadly, this has become so common place that the shooting got about a 30 second mention on national news

PTA members from across the country will be coming together and taking action for our public schools on Capitol Hill during our association’s upcoming Legislative Conference to protect our schools from violence. We must work together toward practical solutions to eliminate gun violence and save lives. We will never stop advocating loudly for every child, family and school across our country.

We urge everyone to use our Blueprint for Parent Leaders to Take Action on Gun Violence Prevention to host critical conversations in your school communities around school safety planning and gun violence prevention: PTA.org/SchoolSafety.
