Tiny Seeds Forest School has 4 spaces available for our upcoming school year in our early childhood program for children ages 3 to 5 years old in the South Lake Tahoe community & we’d love to welcome a few new families into our program!

Our school year program runs Monday through Thursday, 9 AM–1 PM, with enrollment options for:

• 2 days per week
• 3 days per week
• 4 days per week

Tiny Seeds is an outdoor, play-based forest school program where children spend their days exploring, creating, connecting with nature, and learning through hands-on experiences.

If you’ve been interested in becoming part of Tiny Seeds, now is a great time to reach out. We’re looking to fill our remaining four spaces with families who are excited to be part of our community for the school year.

Hello dear community,

This space has been quiet for some time, and I wanted to take a moment to reconnect.

Over the past season, I have been navigating significant personal transitions that required my time and attention. As a result, I stepped back from sharing here and from responding to emails as consistently as usual. Thank you for your patience and understanding. I am currently working through messages and expect to get fully caught up over the next two days.

Throughout this time, our days outside with the children have remained a steady and meaningful part of the work. I look forward to resuming regular updates and sharing more of our experiences and learning.

We had a great day today in our North Lake Tahoe program. We spent time outside together, collecting pinecones and enjoying a little rain and snow. A sweet, simple day in the forest.

Using the pinecones we gathered, we made natural bird feeders with string and sunflower butter for the children to take home. A hands-on way to continue caring for the birds and the land beyond our time together.

We’re still welcoming new students into our Tiny Seeds program, and spring session registration is now open for families hoping to join us this spring in North Lake Tahoe.

We’re dreaming of long days outdoors and the start of summer camp.

We’ve decided to start celebrating summer early by giving away a free week of Tiny Seeds Summer Camp during our first week, June 29th - July 3rd.

Tiny Seeds Summer Camp is offered for children ages 4–8 years old.

Our first week of camp draws inspiration from Washoe culture and the land we call home, inviting children into storytelling, nature exploration, and outdoor play.

We had SO much fun today at our second North Shore Tahoe Tiny Seeds meetup! 🌿✨

So much nature play, sweet friendships forming, & lots of joyful exploring out in the forest.

Our Tiny Seeds program meets Fridays from 10 AM–2 PM in Kings Beach, and we still have a handful of spots left!

This program is for potty-trained kiddos ages 3–5 who love being outside, getting curious, and learning through play.
