💚 Green Ribbon Week is next week at Jordan Ridge Elementary! 💚

Join us August 24–28 as we learn about pedestrian safety and practice how to be seen, be safe and be smart!

🟢 Monday: “I See You” Visibility Day—wear bright green clothing or accessories
🔎 Tuesday: Green Ribbon Safety Hunt
💌 Wednesday: Thank Your Crossing Guards—bring a card or thank-you note
✋ Thursday: Pedestrian Safety Pledge
🤔 Friday: Pedestrian Safety “Would You Rather?” during lunch

We’re SO excited to kick off another school year!

We know the weeks leading up to school can feel like there are about a MILLION things to do…..school supplies, schedules, forms, back-to-school nights. The list goes on!

While you’re checking things off, don’t forget to grab your PTA Membership!

Membership is just $6 for the entire school year!

And here’s the important part: Joining the PTA doesn’t mean you’re signing up to volunteer, attend meetings, or take on another responsibility. Your $6 membership is simply an easy way to support our school and show that you believe in creating the best possible experience for our kids.

Your PTA helps support the things that make school extra special like student activities and events, teacher support, school programs, and opportunities that help build a strong school community.

Every membership adds up, and every member helps us do more for ALL of our students!

☀️ Field Day was a huge success! ☀️

It was definitely a hot one today, but our kids showed up ready to play, compete, and have fun. We loved seeing so many smiles, laughs, and team spirit throughout the day!

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing volunteers who planned fun games, organized activities, and donated their time to help run stations. Events like this wouldn’t be possible without your support.

Thank you to everyone who helped make today such a memorable day for our students. We hope everyone went home with great memories!

Last week’s Cultural Arts Night was truly amazing!

From our incredible Cultures in our Community Art Show to the amazing student dancers and talented performers from other groups, the entire evening was filled with creativity, culture, connection, and celebration. We loved seeing our community come together to share traditions, stories, and performances that made the night so special.

Last week, we wrapped up an amazing Teacher Appreciation Week, and we just have to say, Jordan Ridge REALLY understood the assignment!

Our incredible faculty and staff were spoiled with a catered lunch from Costa Vida, a soda bar, gift cards, a delicious parfait breakfast, and so many thoughtful surprises from the amazing students and families in our school community.

To our teachers and staff: thank you for the love, patience, dedication, and heart you pour into our students every single day. We appreciate you more than words can say!

Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week, and we are so excited to celebrate our amazing teachers and staff. We wanted to give you the weekend to prepare so we can show up ready to make it a special week for them.

Be sure to check your student’s folder for a flyer that came home with your teacher’s favorite things!
