Breastfeeding can be wonderful but it’s also undoubtedly hard work. Make it easier for yourself by ensuring you are comfortable, nourished and supported.

2025 was a big year for Tiny Village!
I started slow with a few daytime postpartum clients and then discovered that nights weren‘t so bad after all! At one point I worked 14 nights in a row…that was definitely too much. I got to see 10 babies grow (1 set of twins) and helped 7 families get more sleep. I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Greece 🇬🇷 with a family.
I took some time to reflect on my career and while I absolutely love working with postpartum parents, I knew that I needed to follow my dreams and pursue a doctorate in occupational therapy! I started the OTD program at this fall and I love it!
But don’t worry, Tiny Village isn’t going anywhere. While I study, I will still take on postpartum, sleep coaching and travel nannying clients. I will also continue working on my blog and add new guides for parents who want no bs, evidence-based advice. I am also going to be more active on Instagram, so stay tuned for sleep and parenting content!
I want to take the time to thank all of the families I have worked with for trusting me with their babies and I want to thank my partner for being my rock 🪨 I also want to thank for adding me to their wonderful team!!
2026 is going to be amazing and I can’t wait to meet you and your little ones ❤️

You don’t need a perfect schedule - you need a rhythm that fits your baby and your life.
As a postpartum doula and certified sleep coach, I created *The Gentle Sleep Guide (6-12 Months)* to help you make gentle, realistic changes that lead to more rest - without sleep training.
🌙 Learn how to support your baby’s natural sleep patterns, find calming routine, and finally get the rest you all deserve.

I often hear from partners (especially if the baby is exclusively breast-/ chestfed) that they can’t do much during the first few weeks and months postpartum. That’s not true at all - a supportive partner can be essential for postpartum recovery! Here are some ways YOU can help your partner heal and thrive after birth.

Disclaimer: I will never judge anyone who choses to sleep train! My goal is to offer up an alternative to those who don’t want to sleep train but also don’t just want to wait for things to get better.

Sometimes, the key to better sleep isn’t about sleep training your baby, but finding more support for YOU. As a holistic sleep coach, I focus on the whole family—not just baby sleep. While improving timing and creating a good sleep environment can help, it’s also normal for young babies to wake up for feeds or comfort during the night. If parents can get the support they need or learn ways to prioritize their own rest, they can feel more well-rested without needing to change a thing about their baby’s sleep. 🌙

1. Your newborn wanting to sleep on you. This is normal newborn behavior and it takes a bit if practice and learning about cues and timing until they are used to their crib.
2. Stroller or carrier naps. Naps do not have to be in a bed! I actually think it is a huge advantage if your baby can sleep on the go.
3. ‚Late‘ bedtimes. In some countries, it is completely normal for kids to go to bed after 9 pm. As long as they are getting enough sleep overall, that’s fine.
4. Sleep at daycare. Most babies sleep absolutely fine at daycare! As long as you have caring teachers that are creative and flexible with how they help your baby sleep, your baby will likely have no issues!
5. What others say. You are not spoiling your baby by holding them and your baby does not have to sleep through the night by a certain age.
What would you add to this list?

Hey sleepy parent!
I’m just letting you know that it is completely normal for your baby’s sleep to be good sometimes and then suddenly not so good again. And guess what? That is completely normal and doesn’t mean that you’re doing something wrong. BUT it is hard and simply knowing that it will pass may not be enough. If possible, take turns with a partner, family member or friend so you can catch up on sleep.
PS: Many postpartum doulas are happy to take over for a night, even if your baby isn’t a newborn anymore!
