Band Camp 2026 kicks off this Wednesday and we are ready and excited to see everyone!

Now is a good time to make sure you have:

*Everything you need to make music (sheet music, instrument in good working order, reeds, valve oil and drum sticks)
*Refillable Water Bottle
*Sun Protection
*Bug Spray
*Sneakers (please no flip flops or shoes with no backs)
*A GREAT ATTITUDE!

Our next and last optional rehearsal for Marching Band will be this Wednesday from 6-8 pm. We had 30 students come to the first one. Let’s go for more this time.

This means that Band Camp is just around the corner!

We had a fantastic first rehearsal tonight with over 30 players in attendance with several new members jumping in for very the first time. The music is already coming together and things are looking great for the start of our season!

Our next and last optional rehearsal will be on August 12th! Hope to see even more faces then!

We will be having our first OPTIONAL marching band rehearsal this Wednesday, July 29th from 6-8 pm in the WHS Band Room for any student looking to get a jump start on the halftime show music or if they are just looking to get out of the house and play a little bit!

Hope to see many new and familiar faces!
