Week #1 of RMCSArt ✅
21 classes and 400+ artists in K-5 practiced taking care of themself, others, and their place while getting their hands on lots of different art supplies. We started creating a cover for the art journals that we keep throughout each school year.
This week was a great start to a year full of creative exploration!

Thanks to for posting photos of her amazing student work inspired by I was able to spark some serious post-vacation creativity with my young artists . This lesson is so much fun and covers so many important art skills and concepts. My Kindergartners ALWAYS love an opportunity to show off how many different kinds of LINES and PATTERNS they can use in their artwork. And who wouldn’t love starting an art project with a picture of a cute animal!!!!
