Job Summary
Dellstar VR Wellness & Co. is seeking a compassionate, trauma-informed Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC) to provide high-quality clinical services to adults, with a focus on individuals with complex trauma, substance use histories, and justice involvement. The counselor will deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support program integrity and growth. This is remote role but therapist must be licensed in Indiana.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, including trauma, PTSD, substance use, and co-occurring conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals informed by trauma-responsive and culturally attuned frameworks.
Provide individual, group, and family therapy as indicated and appropriate.
Utilize evidence-based interventions including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing (MI), EMDR (if trained), and relapse prevention strategies.
Deliver trauma-informed care that recognizes the impact of systemic inequities and adverse life experiences.
Respond to clinical emergencies and safety concerns following agency protocols.
Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans as needed.
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
Ensure compliance with state licensing board requirements, insurance reimbursement standards, and confidentiality regulations (HIPAA).
Work collaboratively with Dellstar VR Wellness & Co. clinical and program staff, referring partners, justice agencies, and community stakeholders.
Provide clinical consultation to team members as appropriate.
Assist in refining therapeutic program offerings, shaping best practices, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
Participate in data collection, evaluation, and reporting to support outcomes measurement and funding objectives.
Maintain required continuing education hours to uphold LCSW and/or LCAC license.
Stay informed about evolving best practices in trauma care, addiction counseling, and intersectional wellness.
Qualifications:
License: Active Indiana LCSW and/or LCAC in good standing (Can also be recognized under PSYPACT).
Education: Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Counseling, Psychology, or related field from an accredited program.
Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience with trauma, PTSD, and/or substance use disorders.
Experience working with justice-involved populations preferred.
