After a eerie-looking morning, participants were back at it -- sound checks and dress rehearsals in the hall in preparation for their final showcase performances! As a reward for all their hard work, everyone was treated to a delicious meal of Indian food at the beautiful home of Joan and Yatish Joshi!

Today at 4pm! Catch the final participant showcase of the 2026 Louise E. Addicott Summer Chamber Music Festival at Indiana University South Bend! Our five ensembles have worked tremendously hard for the past ten days and are eager to share some truly wonderful music with you! This performance is free and open to the public.
Today's program will feature music by Brahms, Penderecki, Schubert, Glazunov, Caroline Shaw, Beethoven, Schumann, Price, Imogen Holst, and Prokofiev. You won't want to miss it!

We are so grateful to the St. Joe County Public Library for having us at their beautiful Main Library Auditorium! We had a small but mighty audience, who enjoyed a performance by all five of our participant ensembles. We cannot wait for the Final Participant Showcase on Saturday, where each group will play all of the rep they've been working on! It is sure to be a treat! Our directors, The Euclid Quartet, are still standing AND smiling, so we will see you at the IU South Bend Ernestine M. Raclin School of the Arts at 4pm on Saturday July 18! The performance is free and open to the public!

👏🤩 We were treated to a sparkling performance by the amazing Verona Quartet last night! A unique program of Scarlatti, Augusta Read Thomas, Janacek, and Beethoven -- plus a bonus encore of a Duke Ellington arrangement that blew us all away! Lucky for our participants, they get another day to work with the Veronas!

We had an absolute blast at Generations AdventurePlex yesterday! What intense games of laser tag, DDR, arcade games, and more! I think this is becoming a beloved annual festival tradition!

It was standing room only at the River Park Library Branch this morning! Thank you to the St. Joe County Public Library for having us! We may have inspired some future string players too! Can't wait for our next Participant Showcase at the Main Branch Auditorium on Thursday at 7pm! All ages are welcome -- the performance is free and open to the public!
