Why Nominate?
Being nominated for a Crystal Apple Award is a powerful way to say “thank you” to an educator who often feels overwhelmed or underappreciated. Beyond the public recognition, there are amazing prizes for both the teacher and their school:

11 Finalists will receive a certificate and $200 in School Specialty merchandise certificates ($100 for the teacher, $100 for the school).
5 Winners (chosen by public vote!) will receive a personalized trophy and $750 in School Specialty gift certificates ($500 for the teacher, $250 for the school).

The nomination period for our 12th annual Crystal Apple Awards opens on Monday, February 16.

All South Bend Schools and offices will be closed on Monday, February 16 in observance of Presidents Day.

Classes will resume on Tuesday, February 17.
