My program, Rosebuds Nursery School & Childcare, is hiring two new Assistant Teachers. Must love being with children, be at least 16 years of age, and be in good physical condition. My two assistants usually alternate days. One takes Mondays/Wednesdays and the other Tuesdays/Thursdays. The beginning wage will start at $19/hour, without previous experience working with children, or $20/hour with previous experience in a professional early childhood setting. After 3 months, I will increase the pay by $1/hour every six months, up to $22/hour. Some knowledge in child development is ideal, but not necessary, as we can help you learn as you go! Pediatric CPR/1st Aid training and Mandated Reporter Training for Child Abuse is required within one month of your hiring date. MMR and Tdap vaccines are required by the state for caregivers in licensed facilities, like our Family Child Care. Please text me or call at 209-505-2299 so we can schedule a meeting. Blue jumped over the rainbow bridge Thursday evening…after almost 15 amazing years! Green brought him home when she was 13 and he’s been a family member ever since. He was like a mountain lion when he’d get all four paws up on the wall and jump ten feet down to go bark at people at the street! He helped raise a lot of kids at Rosebuds, besides his own siblings, Ria, Green, and Ansel. The kids could all lean on Blue when they needed some good dog lovin’. Jay was the best dad he could be to Blue, and they had a special bond and had their evening walk ritual with Summy. Angie was his dog mom, and they were super close, back in the day…
Many people have been touched by Blue, and he was always game when I had a party, one time devouring a whole plate of cupcakes from the potluck table! Green once chased Blue all the way to Columbia, on foot, when he was a youngster! Blue was able to hobble one last time down to the front yard at morning playground time…he lived life to the fullest~ love you old buddy…

Started out my Mother’s Day weekend with a little hangout at Don Pedro with Jay and Summ, followed by a little hafla at The Game Room…overall a nice Friday!

We had the pleasure of working and playing with Miss Abigail Barker all summer and into the fall! She made scrunchies for us all as going away gifts! We love you, Miss Abi! She is also my daughter, Green’s, best friend, and I’m glad I’ll still get to see her!
