Our older groups, the Stars and Planets created their own interpretation of Alma Woodsey Thomas' famous art piece. Ms. Thomas so eloquently stated, "Through color I have sought to concentrate on beauty and happiness in my painting rather than on man's inhumanity to man."

Our younger groups, the Suns and Moons, created their own interpretations of Alma Woodsey Thomas' famous art piece. Ms. Thomas was a black woman artist who spent 30 years as a kindergartener teacher and then became an artist.
