Our SMS Team was working hard today to prepare for our 2026-2027 school year starting on Monday! Today we had our district-wide kickoff, professional development and planning sessions. We can’t wait to see our students next week!💙

🍦 What a great turnout at tonight’s SMS Ice Cream Social & Open House!

We loved seeing so many familiar faces and welcoming our students and families back to school.

A big thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the evening such a success!

And thank you to the amazing SMS staff for jumping into Day 1 activities and getting us ready to kick off another great school year. 💙🤍

⚽ SMS Soccer Kick Around! ⚽

Calling all incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who are interested in playing soccer this fall!

Whether you've played for SMS before, play on a travel team, are thinking about trying out for the first time, or just want to come kick the ball around and meet other players, we'd love to see you!

📅 Date: Tuesday - 8/4/26
🕝 Time: 2:30 to 4:00 p.m.
📍 Location: Soccer field behind Somersworth Middle School

No registration is required. Just show up!

Please bring:
⚽ Water
⚽ Cleats if you have them
⚽ A soccer ball if you'd like (soccer balls will be available)

This is a great opportunity to meet teammates, get back on the field, and have some fun before the season begins. We hope to see you there!
