This past February the CAMP team partnered with KPBSD Federal Programs for Family Fun Nights in Soldotna, Seward, and Homer! π±
Families got to roll up their sleeves and pot their own Cuban oregano, Swedish ivy, or Gollum jade to take home and grow. It was a big hit and everyone loved getting their hands in the dirt.
Pictured here is part of the CAMP team: Tess, CAMP Recruiter, Jeff, CAMP Director, and Annie, CAMP Coordinator. It was great connecting with families and sharing more about the KPC CAMP Program.

Such a wonderful evening celebrating literacy with our partners at MSBSD Migrant Education Program and Indian Education π
Our KPC CAMP team loved joining Literacy Night in the Mat-Su and spending time with families, students, and local author Brooke Hartman, who shared her book βHelp Me Find My Hamster!β β such a fun and meaningful experience for our young readers πβ¨
Thank you to Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District, MSBSD Migrant Education Program, and Brooke Hartman for creating such a special event that builds community and supports student success.

Our College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) team recently traveled to the Matsu region to work with their Migrant Education Program in partnership with Indian Education. It was great to connect with families and future students while informing folks about college pathways and student supports available via CAMP.
