All Hands-on Deck!! Two Japanese Boys Need Host Families Now!
A special “Thank you” to everyone that has helped get almost all 20 Japanese placed with host families in Michigan!! Plane tickets have been purchased and they are all arriving this Sunday, July 21, 2024! We have had some families have to back out for a variety of reasons and we need your help! Please help us in finding our last two Japanese boys (16 and 17 years old) families willing to open their homes and hearts or even your own family!
A host family needs to complete the States’ 4-H International Exchange Programs online application, have a youth to match (Japanese ages 13-17 years) as a host brother/sister (be within 3-4 years of age), adults be Michigan 4-H adult Gold Volunteers, participate in an interview and home visit process. Applications to host can be found at www.states4hexchange.org
Due to such a short time frame – please have any potential host families contact me directly Jan Brinn call or text to 269-312-0672 Email [email protected]. Your help is appreciated for helping us to find these last 2 host families ASAP!
Again - International Programs State Coordinator, Jan Brinn, (269) 312-0672 & Co-Coordinator, John Wurm, (785) 260-3186 are available to answer your questions. Please feel free to contact us with your questions if you feel you might be able to help us heroically find homes for these last young Japanese students.

🔑What’s holding you back from hosting? (Rhetorical questions, but you can leave an answer if you want!)
🌎Did you know many world leaders are former exchange students?
🌍Did you know that hosting an exchange student gives you the chance to experience the nuances of culture of a country you might ever encounter as a tourist?
💙Are you ready to make an investment into the future of the world, while making your own corner of the world a more enriching, loving, understanding place?

These 5 amazing young people need host families for next school year. Ask me how you can be a world changer, with them!
