Great storytelling workshop at Tustumena Elementary today with Casey and Dimi of Chickaloonies. Such a fun time of collaboration with students on creating their own characters and drawing/telling their own stories.

Chickaloonies are BACK in KPBSD! This morning they worked with Kenai Alternative High School students for an extended session. Students were engaged and had a blast learning how to draw characters, collaborate with each other, and tell their own stories. Stay tuned for more pics and school visits.

Bird house build and book giveaway at Tebughna School went great yesterday. The students impressed us with their woodworking skills. Thank you to Erin Stevens (Title 1) and Julie Gottfried (District Librarian) for helping make this possible.
