We have been blown away by the support Every Child's Encore has received, and because of your generosity, we are able to move faster than expected towards our first goals.
There are a lot of updates to share, and it's been overwhelming in a positive way.

People are tagging us in instrument listings and garage sales, and honestly, we love it. Keep them coming. But, at this rate, we may run out of storage even sooner than we thought, which is a wonderful problem to have.

With that growth comes a practical need: a climate-controlled storage space. (String and wood instruments are sensitive) Our current setup at home has officially hit its limit, and before we can continue collecting and distributing instruments, we need a proper place to keep them safe.

We are not looking for anything large. If you have access to an empty commercial space, or know the owner of a storage facility who might be willing to donate space or offer a reduced rate, we would love to hear from you. Every lead helps. So does every dollar.

I met my husband in a band room on the Kenai Peninsula. That is just where our story started.
That was 2010. Since then, we've gotten married, started a family, and watched music stay with us through every chapter of life we've written together.
Last year, we picked up an instrument that needed fixing and a kid in our heads who needed it more. We fixed it. We gave it. We couldn't stop.
Today, we're announcing Every Child's Encore.
We're a nonprofit based in Alaska's Kenai Peninsula, providing instruments, education, and resources at no cost to Alaskan children, so every child who wants to make music can.

The photo at the bottom is real. Fourteen kids. Fourteen instruments. Fourteen first chapters.
This is the beginning, and we are so grateful you're here.
