🍁✨ District 14 Fall Mix & Mingle was a whole autumn symphony today — crisp energy, warm faces, and enough leadership sparkle to light up every leaf on that tablecloth.
Our program unfolded like a well-seasoned holiday recipe:
• kicked things off with the Pledge and District Mission, steady as a seasoned navigator.
• LaQuesha Gibbs Agnew, Toastmaster of the Day, kept the flow smooth and spirited.
• The District Trio — , , and — stirred in some energizing opening remarks. @
• added special-region-level flavor, reminding us how big and connected our community really is.
• Our keynote speaker Versandra Kennebrew, with “The Power of Community,” wrapped everyone in that quiet yes… this is why we do Toastmasters feeling.
• And of course, there were well-earned moments of member recognition sprinkled throughout the afternoon.
But then came the extra sparkle for Phoenix Rising Toastmasters, Club 747776
🔥 OUR CLUB WAS AWARDED AN ENGRAVED GAVEL! 🔥
A slick, shiny, “you-showed-up-and-showed-out” token celebrating our participation in the Humorous Speech Contests. It felt like the universe tapping the mic saying, “Yeah… keep going.” This gavel is basically our new club mascot. Expect it to pop up in photos like it pays rent.
Today wasn’t just a mix and mingle — it was a reminder that COMMON UNITY is our superpower, and when we show up together, the room shifts. The laughter, the learning, the recognition, the connection — all of it layered into a perfect Toastmasters moment.
