Gesso Arts

The kids made vegetable garden illustrations in our 5 classes and they came out amazing! Ages 3-5 used oil pastels and neon paints to color their veggie shapes and our students ages 6-10 observed real vegetables and drew their own. Everyone made brown texture rubbings then tore their papers to make dirt, painted with liquid watercolors and sprinkled with salt for the background and arranged all of the veggies in their gardens. All of our projects include a variety of mediums and art processes which keeps the kids excited and engaged the whole time. Such a fun project! We can’t wait to display everyone’s creations at our art show at the end of the session!

We’re just over here bringing a little joy to your feed and to every child that participates in one of our programs. It’s impossible to not feel good when you see the creativity of a child blossom with the right encouragement and tools to create.
