Breaking news for Smyrna! 3689 Atlanta Road just got approved for a variance that will allow a day spa to open there. The current building will remain, but extensive renovations will occur. The building next door was also purchased by another family who previously withdrew a variance for a "Palm Reading" facility. They will be coming in for variances on this property as well in November.

This just in from a neighbor who actually spoke to a police officer - more info on the incident was that the 2 men ran, the driver did not have a drivers license. The 2 had previous issues with M**h. I asked if there was stolen property in the car or a stolen car and he said no. He said they weren't "ax murderers." They are still not found and probably long gone- but please continue to be safe! Call 911.

Police chased two suspects on foot this morning approximately 7:15am. The chase started around South Cobb Drive and Lois -the suspects ran down Oakdale and were last seen in the backyard of a home off Main Street. Please be on alert and report any suspicious activity immediately.
