Cub Club applications are open!

We are excited to announce that SISD received our approval and the Cub Club After School Care applications are OPEN!!! This is open to all PreK-5th grade students in Smithville ISD. After school care will begin on Tuesday, September 8th!

A HUGE thank you to Ascension Seton Smithville for showing Smithville Elementary so much love! 💙

Their team reached out to us, asked what we needed, and then went above and beyond by donating an incredible amount of supplies to support our students and staff.

We are so fortunate to live in a community where local organizations don't just ask, “How can we help?” They show up and make it happen.

♻️ Tigers, it’s time to start collecting! 🐯💚

Smithville Elementary has partnered with Keep Smithville Beautiful for the Plastic Collection Challenge!

🥤 Collect #1 & #2 plastic bottles
💧 Rinse them & leave the caps on
♻️ Take them to the Smithville Recycling Center during scheduled drop-off times
📣 Be sure to give them your teacher’s name so your class gets credit!

🏆 Classes can win a Pizza Party, Popsicle Party, or Snack Party!

The challenge runs through September 26, so ask your family, friends, and neighbors to help you collect!

🌎 Help keep the Colorado River clean — EVERY BOTTLE COUNTS!

🐯 Important Arrival Reminder for Tiger Families! 🐯

Just a quick reminder about our morning arrival procedures:

⏰ Students are considered tardy at 7:45 AM.

If your student arrives at school at or after 7:45 AM, a parent or guardian must come into the office and sign the student in.

Students should not be dropped off to walk into the building on their own after 7:45 AM.

📍 Please come to the office to complete the sign-in process, and don’t forget your photo ID!

We are excited to announce our first-ever Smithville ISD Tiger Ambassador Academy! SISD wants to bring our families and community into the district to get a "behind the scenes" look with four visits to the district throughout the 26-27 year. The application is open now!

We look forward to getting this program up-and-running and hope you will join us!

**WHAT A GREAT FIRST DAY, TIGERS!** Important Information

We had an AMAZING first day at Smithville Elementary! It was so wonderful to see our hallways and classrooms filled with smiling faces again. We love having our Tigers back! We are looking forward to a fantastic year of learning, growing, and getting 1% better every day!

As we head into Day 2, here are a few important reminders for our families:

📚 Beginning tomorrow, parents will not be able to walk students to their classrooms.
Don’t worry—we will have plenty of SES staff stationed throughout campus to greet students, help them find their classrooms, and make sure everyone gets where they need to go safely.

⏰ Morning Reminders

* Gates open at 7:15 AM
* Breakfast is served from 7:15–7:45 AM
* No breakfast will be served after 7:45 AM
* Students are considered tardy at 7:45 AM
* If your child is tardy, a parent/guardian will need to come inside and sign the student in
*Please remember to bring your photo ID

Dimissal Information:
*Car tags, please have student's first and last name along with the teacher name.
* Please pull into a parking spot or pull to the tennis courts to buckle your student.
