Livingston County 4-H Livingston County 4-H Offers several fun, exciting, & educational programs and opportunities throughout the year!

Programming is broken into 5-8 year-olds (Cloverbuds) and 9-19 year-olds (4-Hers). The mission of 4-H is to help young people become self-directing, productive and contributors to society. The program emphasizes "hands-on" learning as it centers around the youth's area of interest, home and family. This goal is accomplished with the help of parents, adult volunteer leaders and professional staff w

ho organize educational experiences. Youth participate through organized 4-H clubs, special interest and project groups,

Participants will explore topics including:

• Principles of Flight
• Aerodynamics and Aircraft Systems
• Bernoulli's Principle
• Newton's First and Third Laws of Motion
• Weather and Aviation
• Drone Technology and Flight Operations
• Aerospace and Aviation Careers
• STEM/STEAM Applications in Aerospace

The highlight of the camp is a flight experience with an FAA Certified Flight Instructor. Participants will have the opportunity to take the controls of an aircraft, receive introductory flight instruction, and log their flight time.

🌮 Save the date for Teen Retreat 2026! 🌮

Spend a weekend at WKY 4-H Camp building leadership skills, taking classes, and networking with other teens from across western Kentucky! Don’t miss out on the fun.

🍀This program is for youth in 8th-12th grades.🍀

Registration paperwork and cost will be shared as they are released. Those interested in attending should call the Livingston County Extension Office at 270.928.2168 and we will send paperwork directly as it becomes available!

‼️Don’t forget, after September 1st ALL enrollment must be done online by a parent or guardian and will be required for participation in this event. Let us know if you have any questions.
