Lela Riley Marcus When I Paint I have no idea what I am doing but I like it Oil Paint colors to use are: Mauve, Crimson, Purple, Paynes Grey, Red Light, Burnt Sienna, Burnt Um I love all the colors. The colors remind me of Rainbows.

My favorite Oil Paint colors to use are: Mauve, Crimson, Purple, Paynes Grey, Red Light, Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber, Ivory Black, Midnight Black, Thalo Blue, well my list could go on and on. In my paintings it is so much fun to mix them together, playing around to see what colors can be created. I wonder how many value changes Leonardo da Vinci used when he started out oil painting. I have used acrylics, and oil paints in my paintings. I would like to try using 36 value changes in an Oil Painting. I am not a Teacher and I do not know a whole lot about what is the right or wrong way to do this or that, or use this brand or that brand. I do use everything I can get my hands on. Sometimes things just click and then some are total FAIL! I'm ok with the Fail part, It could be the hard way to get to where I want to go, but telling me anything isnt going to show me what I can or cannot do... I have to try and see what the heck I can do, with what ever my mind wants to try to do, then again at times I cannot make up my mind and I try several things. I discovered, a new creation, I want to be, in me. That is when I knew, that I wanted to be an Artist. The one crazy idea I want to try is: Painting an Oil Painting with my left hand on one canvas and also using my right hand at the same time on a canvas. My 2 handed 2 paints, and 2 brushes, 2 views from left to right. Both Oil Paintings will have their own unique brush strokes on the canvases. I am sure that will feel awkward and silly :) My personality allows the fun

A good friend of mine Lisa, has this painting. I painted this in memory of one of her friends. Now I have to try and paint this again, because somebody wants to buy one just like it. I don't know how to duplicate paintings so they may be disappointed. It may look similar, I have no idea how to do that unless a lithograph is made from it, the cost in that is outrageous. I will give it a try painting this again. When I did paint this painting, I did paint the same painting in lavender or mauve, my mom has that painting. I painted them both at the same time. Both paintings look just alike except for the color is different. The ocean is one of my most favorite places to be at. I just do not get to the ocean enough. I always wondered why I don't live on a beach, soaking in the sun, drinking something with rum, in a red solo cup :) Then.. I think of hurricanes, no way... I do not want to worry bout hurricanes!
So for now, I'm here in Ohio
