Sioux Empire Wrestling was started to provide opportunities for young wrestlers in the Sioux Empire area. Our first endeavor is no small feet to get us started.
The goal of the organization is to support the clubs in the area to help grow the great sport of wrestling in our community. We will be hosting the first State AAU Youth Tournament in Sioux Falls. We are working very hard to provide a great experience not only for the competing athletes, but also for the dedicated supporters. Had a good weekend at the Denny. Hosted 479 USA Freestyle matches Friday night, then 2,555 AAU matches Saturday and Sunday! We love this sport!
Thank you to all of the volunteers that make this a reality! Thank you to the referees for making this a great experience for the kids! And thank you to the South Dakota Wrestling Coaches Association for entrusting us with this event!

This will be the mat assignments for Saturday. We are running 18 matches on 26-ft diameter competition areas. The goal is to keep wrestlers on the same mat all day, but will move matches to open mats as action starts to wrap up for the day.
Friday night mat assignments will be posted after registration ends.
We'll run 3 matches at a time Championship Sunday. Mat assignments for Sunday will be posted before the event. For reference, they will be on Mats 1, 2, 3, & 13 | 5, 6, 7 & 15 | 9, 10, 11 & 17
