In 7th grade the students complete a literature unit that focuses on the theme of Biblical Transformation. They create time capsules that include a photo, a string to measure their height, objects that represent their interests and personality, and notes that describe their hopes, their fears, and their goals. These containers are opened at the end of 8th grade, allowing students to reflect on how much they’ve grown, where God has brought them so far, and where he might be taking them as they step into their futures.
