This is why we do this. 🌎💛

We believe learning a language should feel like an adventure, not a lesson. This week, our Session 2 campers are proving exactly that.

They painted hand fans inspired by Spain. They built quetzal birds with feathers and tissue paper to learn about Guatemala's national bird. They stamped their own passports with stops in Argentina, Costa Rica, and España. They learned colors in Spanish while gluing together the brightest, silliest suns you've ever seen. ☀️

That's how real language learning happens — through hands, color, play, and joy, not flashcards.

And the smiles? Worth a thousand vocabulary words. 😄

The last couple weeks’ Spanish + STEAM adventures were all about MONSTERS 👾🧠

We reviewed body parts vocabulary through songs, movement, and games, then played a “Guess Who?” monster edition completely in Spanish:

“El monstruo tiene tres ojos.” 👁️👁️👁️
“Tiene dos bocas.” 👄👄
“Tiene una nariz.” 👃
“Tiene una pierna.” 🦵
“Tiene dos brazos.” 💪💪

After that, the kids designed and built their own silly monsters using all kinds of creative materials and LOTS of imagination. This one got messy… but the creativity, language practice, and excitement made it completely worth it. 💚

Hands-on learning helps language come alive. ✨
