The ice that came last week is solid enough to walk on without breaking through. That also means that any animal p**p in my yard stayed in full view until the ice melts. 😆 I have dog, deer, rabbit and fox p**p.

End of October violet blooms. They should be settling down for a long winter’s nap.

Autumn re-blooming?!

I forgot about a potato at the back of my fridge. It was sprouting. Instead of tossing it in the garbage, I tossed it in a pot outside. 2 months later, I had a bowl full of potatoes.

It is autumn and this is the catch of the day from my fall garden. Eggplant, Swiss chard, and beet seedlings.

It’s small but it is sweet and tasty- my first home grown cantaloupe. Thank you to my client who said she wanted to grow cantaloupes this year. She threw me out of my comfort zone so I could learn!

Garden humor is a great way to avoid garden overwhelm.

People are SO hard on themselves. But… lots of us I promise are just out here trying our best and not always making everything happen. Do I wish I had a perfectly landscaped everything with lots of flowers? Sure! But I also want to create content, spend time with my friends and family, play with my dogs and travel and perform live and live my life! It’s not always going to look the way we plan 🩷.
