cheer, dance, and have FUN? Join us for our Panther Cheer
Clinic! 🐾✨
📍 Where: After school until 5:00 PM at your student's respective
SSSD campus
Registered 6th graders will receive an email with specific
instructions.

○ Students at Thomas will attend at Southside

🖤 Wednesday, September 16th from 3:05-5:00

🏈 Performance Day: Friday, September 18th — before the

At Southside, our students have two chances every day to step away from the classroom, get active, play with friends, and recharge.

Time is running out to apply for Summer EBT 2026! The deadline is August 31. While some families receive Summer EBT automatically, if your child attends a school where all students receive free lunches, you may need to fill out an application so DHS can determine your eligibility based on income and household size.

📚 Looking for a great after-school option for your child?

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Benton County is offering an after-school program for Siloam Springs students!

The program runs Monday through Friday from 2:45–7 p.m. and provides a safe, supportive environment where students can learn, grow and have fun after the school day ends.

Students will have opportunities to build:

🏃 Healthy Lifestyles through fitness and wellness activities

The Siloam Springs Public School Foundation invests in the ideas that help our teachers meet the unique needs of their students! We’re excited to tell you about Southside Elementary’s recipient of this year’s teacher grants.

Chelsea Faust — Counselor
Ms. Faust’s grant, “Sensory Strategies for Academic and Emotional Success” will provide sensory tools and resources for PK–5 students to help address growing sensory and social-emotional needs that can impact learning and behavior.

The new resources will support students with a variety of sensory needs, including proprioceptive, vestibular, visual, and tactile input, helping create opportunities for students to feel more regulated, engaged, and ready to learn.

This is : Equipping our teachers with resources that support the whole student and make a meaningful difference in the classroom.

Beginning Monday, we will be changing the Southside PreK drop-off and pick-up procedures.

The parking lot on the west side of the building will now be reserved for PreK parents and their older siblings.

Parents should park in the designated area and walk to the PreK Entrance to sign their child in or out with a PreK staff member.
