💻🔢 Mr. King’s Key Code/Career Awareness students are putting their technology skills to the test as they practice using binary code—the language of computers! 🖥️

Students are learning how computers use combinations of 0s and 1s to communicate and process information. What an awesome hands-on way to explore the world of technology and computer science! Way to go 6th grade students and way to go Mr. King!!! 👏💡

🎨🦿 Learning with Purpose in Mrs. Templeton’s Class! 🦿🎨

Students in Mrs. Templeton’s Design and Modeling class recently put their creativity and problem-solving skills to work by creating Ankle Foot Orthosis (AFO) prototypes designed to help patients with cerebral palsy (CP).

Through this hands-on project, students explored how design and engineering can be used to create solutions that improve the lives of others. We love seeing our Panthers use their creativity, critical thinking, and innovation for work that truly matters! 🐾❤️

Great job, students! We are so proud of your hard work and thoughtful designs! 👏

🎉🐾 8th Grade Advisory Assembly! 🐾🎉

Our 8th grade Panthers kicked off the year by coming together to go over important expectations, school rules, attendance, dress code, and procedures to help make this a successful year at RMS!

But it wasn’t all rules and reminders! We ended our time together with plenty of laughs, excitement, and friendly competition as students took on balloon and hula hoop challenges! 🎈🌀

We are so excited to see what our amazing 8th graders accomplish during their final year at Ramey Middle School! Let’s make it a great one, Panthers! ❤️🩶🐾

🎶 Band Class in Action! 🎶

A little glimpse into the creativity happening in band today! Our students each contributed random notes and note values, which were then redistributed among pairs. Each pair used their notes to create a two-measure musical phrase. 🎵

Then, to add to the fun! Ms. Rebidue went around the room and played each group’s creation on her clarinet so they could hear exactly what their musical phrase sounded like. 🎷👏

So much creativity, collaboration, and hands-on learning happening in band! Way to go, musicians! 🎶🐾

🎉 7th Grade Advisory Assembly! 🎉

Our 7th grade Panthers spent some time today reviewing important expectations for the school year, including attendance, dress code, school rules, and other procedures that help keep RMS running smoothly.

After getting down to business, we finished the assembly with some fun and friendly competition featuring balloons and hula hoops! 🎈🌀

Way to go, 7th grade! We’re excited to see all the great things you’ll accomplish this year! 🐾❤️🩶

🎨✨ From Sketch to Masterpiece! ✨🎨

Our awesome students in Mrs. Templeton’s Visual Art I class are learning the art of still life drawing! Today, they’re starting with their very first sketches, focusing on observation, shape, detail, and proportion. 🖌️✏️

But they’re not stopping there! Later this week, these sketches will come to life as beautiful watercolor paintings. 🌈🎨

We can’t wait to see their finished masterpieces! Way to go, Ramey Panthers! 🐾❤️🩶
