Our little scientists had a blast exploring chemistry with our Exploding Lemons experiment! 🔬✨

We used lemons, food coloring, baking soda, and dish soap to create a fun and fizzy reaction. The children got to make predictions, observe the bubbling reaction, and see what happens when different ingredients are combined! 🌈🫧

It was a fun, hands-on way to explore cause and effect, chemical reactions, and scientific observation while getting a little messy along the way! 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬💛

🍴✨ Today at Kids Café! ✨🍴

Our little chefs had so much fun in the kitchen today! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 We explored different ingredients, practiced following recipes, and created some delicious treats together! 💕

🎬🍿 Movie Theater Chex Mix
We made our very own movie-theater-inspired snack mix using Pirate’s B***y, pretzels, cookies, and M&M’s! A perfect sweet-and-salty treat for movie night! 🎥

🍰✨ Popcorn-Decorated Cake
Our chefs decorated angel food cake with vanilla frosting, mini marshmallows, and edible glitter to create an adorable popcorn-inspired treat! 🍿💖

🥐🤎 Cinnamon Roll in a Mug
We mixed flour, baking powder, sugar, oil, vanilla extract, butter, and cinnamon to make a warm and delicious cinnamon roll right in a mug!

🧀🍝 Mac & Cheese
And of course, no Kids Café is complete without a classic favorite! Our chefs made creamy mac & cheese using pasta and cheese. 🥰

✨ August Family Spotlight ✨

This month, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on one of our amazing Cadence families — the Gilliam family! 💚

“We love celebrating the wonderful families that make our school community so special, and we’re so thankful to the Gilliam family for sharing their experience with us!”

The Gilliam family has been part of the Cadence family since 2022, but their connection to our school goes back even further! Their oldest daughter attended when we were Building Blocks over 14 years ago, and they were excited to return and have Gian and Gia experience the same caring environment. 🥰

From building confidence and independence to growing academically and socially, it has been so special watching Gian and Gia learn, grow, and thrive with us! 💚

A special shout-out to all of the teachers and staff who have cared for them throughout the years. We’re also so grateful for the Gilliam family’s involvement in our family events and the wonderful memories they’ve made with us! 🎉

🎄☀️ Christmas in July was a magical week at our school! ☀️🎄

Our students had an unforgettable time celebrating with so many fun and festive activities. We were amazed by an exciting bubble show, enjoyed a special visit from the Elf on the Shelf, and spread holiday cheer by walking through the building singing Christmas carols.

The fun continued as everyone made delicious hot cocoa to enjoy while cozying up to watch The Polar Express. It was the perfect way to bring a little Christmas magic to the middle of summer!

A huge thank you to our amazing staff for making this week so special and creating memories our students will cherish. We love seeing the smiles, laughter, and excitement that filled our halls all week long!

Congratulations to our August Teacher of the Month, Sienna! 🍎✨

Sienna, thank you for everything you've done to support our school this summer. Your positive attitude, willingness to jump in wherever needed, and the kindness and care you show our children and team have made such a meaningful impact. We are so grateful you chose to spend your summer as part of the Cadence family!

✨🔬The fun never stops here at Cadence!✨🔬

Today, our campers became little STEM scientists as they explored exciting, hands-on experiments that sparked curiosity and encouraged discovery!

🌋 Lava Lamps - We created our very own lava lamps using simple ingredients and watched colorful bubbles move and dance while learning about liquids and chemical reactions.

👾 Monster Sensory Bags – Our campers designed silly monster sensory bags, exploring colors, textures, and sensory science through creative play.

💥 Burst Mountain – The excitement was contagious as we watched our mountain erupt during a fun STEM experiment! The children loved making observations, asking questions, and seeing science come to life.

It was wonderful to see our campers actively listening to their teachers, making predictions, participating in each experiment, and discovering that learning can be fun! At Cadence Academy, we love creating hands-on STEM experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. 💙

🐐🌾 The fun continued at Cadence Academy with a special visit from our Farm Friends! 🐇🐥

Our day was filled with smiles, laughter, and hands-on learning as our Farm Friends came to visit! Every class had the opportunity to head outside to meet the animals, pet them, and learn fun facts about each one.

From fluffy bunnies to friendly goats and curious chickens, the children loved getting up close with our furry and feathered visitors while discovering more about how they live and what makes them unique.

Experiences like these help spark curiosity, encourage compassion for animals, and create meaningful learning opportunities that our children will remember for years to come.

Our Summer Camp campers had an absolute BLAST at yesterday's Foam Party! 🎉 From dancing and laughing to running through mountains of fluffy foam, the smiles never stopped. It was the perfect way to cool off, make unforgettable memories, and enjoy a day filled with excitement and fun! ☀️💙

🦸‍♀️🦹‍♂️ Superhero vs. Villains Day at Cadence Academy Preschool! 🦹‍♀️🦸‍♂️

Today was filled with imagination, creativity, and plenty of heroic adventures!

🧪 Some of our classrooms became mini science labs as the children created Superhero Slime by mixing glue, contact solution, baking soda, food coloring, and glitter together. The children loved exploring textures, colors, and watching their creations come to life!

🎭 Other classrooms designed their own Superhero Masks, creating unique disguises to transform into their favorite heroes and villains.

⚔️ Meanwhile, our Summer Camp friends entered Jedi Training Academy! Led by none other than Obi-Wan Kenobi, our young Padawans participated in an exciting game of Lightsaber Tag, using pool noodles as lightsabers while practicing teamwork, listening skills, and agility as they trained to become true Jedi Masters.

The force was definitely strong at Cadence today! 🌟✨
