Backpack Blessings - Beecher City CUSD #20 Backpack Blessings mission is to provide food for some of our own local school children over the weekends. It's hard to imagine, isn't it? Incredible.

We would like to invite you to join us on an exciting new mission project called "Backpack Blessings." The goal of this venture is to provide food for some of our own local schoolchildren, kids whose families are having a hard time providing food for their children over the weekends. But our local educators (who are on the front lines with these kids) assure us that the problem is only too real. Children in our community are going hungry over the weekends. A mission project right next door.

It’s that time of the year again! School is starting and we would deeply appreciate any donations your family is able to give. We know this has been a challenging year but what an opportunity for our community to join together for our children. Please contact me if you’d like to donate any non perishables, cash donations or time. Any cash donations can be brought to the Beecher City Bank under the Backpack Blessings program. Have a wonderful weekend.

First meeting of the school year is this Thursday, August 10th @ 6:30 pm at the United Methodist Church, Beecher City. If you would like to help make a difference in a child's life, this is a great opportunity. Hope to see you there.
