Due to several unforeseen circumstances, as well as new LSU safety regulations regarding events involving children, we regret to inform you that IDEAS Day 2026 has been canceled in its current form. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this decision may cause and appreciate your understanding.
Our team is committed to re-envisioning and restructuring IDEAS Day to ensure that the children of the Shreveport-Bossier community can continue to grow their love of science in a fun, safe, and engaging environment. We are hopeful that next year we will be able to offer an overhauled experience that exceeds any and all current expectations.

LSU Health Shreveport is hosting IDEAS Day, a FREE science fair aimed to spark curiosity in children of all ages through interactive demonstrations and medical and science experiments! This is a great way to spend a Saturday with your family!
When: Saturday, March 7th 2026 9:00 AM- 3:00 PM
Where: LSU Health Sciences Medical Education Building
Who: Families with children of all ages (includes high school aged)!
