The last game before tournament is this Friday in Leesville against First Church! Let's pray for safe travels and that we can bring home the win!!!

🚦 Safety Town Field Trip! 🚒
Our students had an exciting and educational day at Safety Town! They learned about many important safety topics that help keep them safe at home, school, and in the community.
Here are a few of the things we covered today:
✅ Stranger danger and the importance of having a family code word
✅ Gun safety — what to do if you ever find a gun
✅ Seat belt and booster seat safety in the car
✅ Where to go during a tornado at home
✅ Creating a fire escape plan with two ways out of your home
✅ How to call 911 and why it’s important to know your phone number and address (even how to use a landline!)
✅ Water safety and making smart choices around pools and lakes
✅ Railroad crossing and track safety
✅ Natural gas well site safety
✅ Walking safely on sidewalks and crossing streets
✅ Power station and electricity safety
We encourage parents to take a few minutes to talk with their children about what they learned today. Ask them to share what surprised them most, and review your own family’s emergency plans together!
We are so proud of how well our students listened, learned, and participated!

🍁 Fall Festival Setup & Fun! 🍁
We’re so excited for our upcoming Fall Festival on Saturday, October 18th!
After our Safety Town field trip on Friday, October 17th, we’ll begin booth setup from 12:00–2:30 PM. Families and students are welcome to start decorating and setting up their booths during this time.
Mrs. Teresa will also be here around 4:30 PM to continue setup for anyone who would like to come back later in the afternoon.
This has been such a fun time for our students as they prepare for one of the best events of the year! 🎃🍂
We can’t wait to see all the creativity and excitement that goes into each booth.
Invite your friends and family to come out and support our students. Let’s make this year’s Fall Fest the biggest and best! 🎪✨
