I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season filled with love, family, and joy.

I’m excited to officially be part of council as we begin 2026! In case you missed it, new council members were sworn in mid-December, and we are all excited and ready to serve our community.

Our first council meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 20th, and we would love for you to join us. Your presence and involvement matter, and we look forward to a great year ahead working together for Shreve!

It’s hard to believe that tomorrow is Election Day! 🇺🇸
I encourage everyone to get out and make your voice heard — especially when it comes to local elections like this. Your vote truly does count and matter.
No matter what happens, this experience has been incredible. Getting out, meeting people from our community, and hearing your stories has been one of the most amazing things I’ve had the opportunity to do. Whether it’s someone who recently moved to Shreve, someone looking to build their family here, or someone who’s lived here longer than I’ve been alive — it’s been inspiring to listen to your memories, thoughts, and hopes for our town.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to share a piece of your story with me. 🩷

🌟 We’re heading into the final weekend before Election Day! 🌟

I want to take a moment to thank everyone for the conversations, support, and
encouragement throughout this process. As we approach Tuesday, I’d like to offer the opportunity for anyone who still has questions or would like to discuss anything with me to reach out here, or you can send me a message.

My goal is for you to feel informed and confident when you head to the polls on Election Day.

This is not shared to shame others, or spark debate on the program. But for those who need help, here is a resource. If you are truly struggling to feed yourself, or family. Please message me, and we can try to find resources to help. No one should be hungry.

With the uncertainty of SNAP benefits, we wanted to remind everyone that the Wooster Hope Center is open weekly to give out food Wednesdays 12-3, Thursdays 6-8, Fridays 10-12 at 807 Spruce St.
With our Backpack Program for the kids, CSFP (Senior Boxes), and our Food Pantry we currently provide food to over 1,500 families per month.
If you would like to help us at the Wooster Hope Center, we need extra volunteers on Wednesdays 11-3 and Fridays 9-12. If you have any questions or would like more information, please email our Director Richard Frazier at [email protected] or call 330-683-2242.

If you would like to donate food, we can take your donations on Tuesdays 8:00 - 1:00. Our greatest need at this moment is meat products (fresh and can meat.)
We appreciate all of your support as we are a 100% volunteer organization! We will get through this together, just like we did through the pandemic.
