𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭… 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥!⁣⁣
⁣⁣
If your kid just wants to play Minecraft all summer, this local camp is for you! Instead of simply mining, crafting, and exploring, your child can start to create their own version of the game.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
In Wize Computing Academy’s world-class STEM summer camps, students go beyond survival mode and learn how to:⁣⁣
⁣⁣
⛏️ Build and design their own custom worlds⁣⁣
🧱 Create structures, challenges, and new gameplay⁣⁣
💻 Code their own mods inside Minecraft⁣⁣
🐉 Design their own rules, mechanics, and adventures⁣⁣
⁣⁣
It’s like switching from 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞 → 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Along the way, they’ll be developing real skills in:⁣⁣
* Coding and programming⁣⁣
* Game design and systems thinking⁣⁣
* Problem-solving and logic⁣⁣
⁣⁣
No prior coding experience needed—just a love of Minecraft and a willingness to experiment.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
If your child already spends hours in Minecraft, this is a way to turn that interest into something 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦, 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭-𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨.⁣⁣

Our young engineers took on a big challenge! 🤖💙 Using a color sensor, students built robotic carts that can detect and follow a blue tape line all on their own. Some even pushed further—tackling sharp turns and switching between blue and green tape with impressive precision. Proud of their curiosity and grit!

We still have a few spots open for our local, in-person summer camp if you’re looking for something engaging, active, and different. Check out the link below to find our program schedule and a location near you!

Our students streamed real‑time pitch, roll, and yaw data to generate line graphs that helped them analyze and coordinate their movements. By experimenting with different motions and comparing the resulting graphs, they learned how engineers use data to understand the world. Such a powerful blend of coding, robotics, and critical thinking! 🤖📊

Backpacks are coming home full of papers.
Teachers are wrapping things up.
Kids are already in full summer mode.
And for a lot of parents, there’s still one big question:
“What are they doing all summer?”

If you’re still figuring that out, check out what we’ll be doing at our Wize Summer Camp this year!
👉 Watch: LEGO Robots!

This is from one of our world-class STEM summer camps at Wize Computing Academy. Students design, build, and program their own robots using motors, sensors, lights, sounds and more… and then put them to the test.

It’s a mix of:
* Hands-on building
* Creative problem-solving
* Team challenges
And yes… a lot of laughing and excitement
Kids have a blast, and they’re also learning real skills along the way that will keep their minds active throughout the summer months.

This week, our young engineers built their own earthquake simulators to test how well different structures can withstand shaking just like real tectonic plate movement beneath the Earth. Through hands-on building, students learned why thoughtful design is so important in earthquake-prone cities and explored creative ways buildings stay strong during tremors. Such an eye‑opening and engaging project! 🌍🏗️✨

Students took on a fun engineering challenge this week: building a rolling digital ruler! Through this project, they learned how rotary motion and circumference work together to measure distance, and they practiced using variables, numeric data types, and arithmetic operations in their code. Big concepts made simple and exciting for young minds 🤖📐

Another young cohort of engineers is building Sumo Battle Bots with both brains and brawn. Every group uses their creativity to build and enhance their bot until only one champion remains! 🤖🔥

This week, our young engineers are building a Sumo Battle Bot that’s got brains and brawn. Using a color sensor, our robot will outsmart the competition by detecting the black boundary line of the arena and making a quick reverse turn to stay in the game. Follow along as we bring this strategic bot to life!

Our young engineers moved from learning to building—creating their own stationary and moving Safety Patrol Robots! They tested their creations by searching the room for hidden objects, practicing problem‑solving, teamwork, and creative thinking along the way 🤖❤️

Today we welcomed students into the world of robotics by exploring the gyro sensor on day one. They discovered how this tiny sensor helps robots understand orientation and movement. And of course, we jumped straight into hands-on activities so they could see it in action. It's just the beginning of an awesome robotics journey!
