Congratulations!!!

We are thrilled to announce that the Parkland Chorale has been selected as a national finalist for the 2026 American Prize in Choral Performance! The American Prize is a prestigious national nonprofit competition that recognizes the best performers and ensembles in the United States. We are incredibly proud of our student musicians for this wonderful honor, which is a testament to their dedication and hard work.

Wonderful news!!

For 2026-2027, RMF is proud to announce that more than $465,000 in grant funding was approved to support music education, performance, and community engagement across Berks!

Highlights include:
✅ $177,600 to affiliate organizations presenting concerts and educational programming throughout the county
✅ $89,100 for innovative special projects that expand access to music and strengthen community partnerships
✅ $129,612 to sustain RMF's own scholarship, outreach, Music-in-the-Schools, student recognition, and summer music programs
✅ $69,500 reserved for future grant opportunities, including music therapy initiatives, special project support, and emerging community needs

New investments include:
🔹 Launching RMF's Music Industry Fellowship/Internship program--more info coming in the fall of 2026!
🔹 Continued expansion of Music-in-the-Schools program.
🔹 Increased flexibility to respond to new opportunities throughout the year.

🎼🗣 The next round of AUDITIONS for the Allentown Symphony Chorus are this November!

This season, the chorus will be singing in two concerts, joining the A*O to perform Lauridsen’s 'Lux Aeterna' (April 2027) and Holst’s 'The Planets' (May 2027).

All singers interested in becoming part of the ASC must take part in a short audition, which includes singing the provided excerpt and sight reading.
