💧The Ripple Effect
Sometimes in life we get so caught up in everything around us that we forget to just be. Be us, be present, and be kind. To ourselves and others.
Through this exercise, middle school students visually see that their actions, presence, and character have real impact on others—even when they don’t realize it.

Each student wrote an anonymous note to eachother, highlighting how they impact them in their day to day life or have made a day better for them and placed them in their cups.
After everyone was done, they read their notes silently, taking time to appreciate themselves the way others do, even when they don't notice.

And the take away?
💗You don’t get to decide whether you matter or not.
✨Because you already do. You always have.
The only choice you get is what kind of impact you leave behind and where your ripple will start

And that's a wrap!
We just finished our second and last day of fun pie making in celebration of Apple Week!
🍎Over the past two days, we welcomed over a hundred elementary students into our classroom to learn how to make and put together a unique apple pie. I think this was as much for us as it was for them!
Thank you so much to our elementary for choosing to celebrate this special week with us!

2026 Food Truck Friday!
Our annual trip to Bloomington's Food Truck Friday was a huge hit!!
We always plan this trip to follow our Food Truck Friday class project so students can then have a shared experience with the professionals in the industry!
Students asked lots of great questions relating directly to their project business and Rox Catering. And we received great advice and pointers for hosting our own events.
We may have several ambitious entrepreneurs in this class as well as some potential event ideas in the planning.. The sky's the limit!!
Amidst all the learning and great food, we still made time to just be kids.. Which in our opinion is equally important 💗
