Navajos from Chinle acted in George B. Seitz adaptation of Zane Grey's "The Vanishing American" in 1925 and using accepted anthropological data reconstructed Navajo History for the Prologue into the story. In this Photo Navajos are depicted in their Summer wear before the contact with Ancestral Pueblos around 1200 AD. What isn't pictured is that Navajos of this time were expert skin workers able to make jackets and trousers that could keep you warm in sub zero temperatures.
