We’re trying something new in the garden this year. This week we built and installed this trellis to grow our tomatoes on one side and peas on the other. Last year our tomatoes took over so we’re hoping that giving them vertical space will help keep them a bit more contained.

This year we’re growing three varieties of tomatoes, cucumbers, chives, lavender, sage, zucchini, strawberries, white currants, blackberries, sugar snap peas, cauliflower, broccoli, and mini sweet peppers. We have also started a new compost bin this year which will become a fourth raised bed for us to plant in eventually. The kids love turning the compost and looking for worms!

Our kids have been learning about life cycles by raising tadpoles this year. We have our first frog! It is tiny but the kids have enjoyed watching it swim around the tank with its sibling who is still a froglet.

The summer program is open to children ages 2-7.

I had the honor of hosting Better Kid Care while they create new content for trainings. BKC has been an amazing resource for continuing education throughout my career in Early Childhood Education.

Join us on April 16th from 4:30–7:30PM as we honor the contributions that have paved the way and celebrate the grand opening of the Fogelsonger Family Stage at Library Square at Coy Public Library!

Warm weather means we’re and preschoolers are playing in the dirt while the babies take their naps in the shade.

Swim lesson registration will be opening soon in our area. If you’ve been considering lessons for your child, this is a great opportunity to help them build confidence and important safety skills in the water. 🏊‍♂️
